Administrative Professionals Day® Is observed annually on the Wednesday of Administrative Professionals Week. For 2020, it is Wednesday, April 22. In 1952, National Secretaries' Day and Week, was organized by the National Secretaries Association along with several other people and companies to recognize secretaries for their efforts in the workplace. In the year 2000, this annual event was changed to Administrative Professionals Day and Week, by the International Association of Administrative Professionals (formerly known as the National Secretaries Association).
